Hi!
I’m Lee Adkins, a recent graduate from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. in Computer Science and a concentration in Information Security. If that sounds not too useful to you, do know that the majority of the education was in software development.
I quit my retail sales day job nearly a year ago to focus on mobile application development and freelance web development. Prior to that, I’d been working on various software side projects for 5 years. It’s worked wonderfully so far, but I’d love to get to work with lots of like minded people while getting a more steady income.
I work, as may or may not be visible in my GitHub account, with JS/HTML/CSS, Ruby (via Rails), Java (via Android), and Objective-C (via iOS). I do have experience in Python, C# (via ASP.NET), and C/C++.
I’m very interested in web and mobile application development, as it’s where I feel the most innovative ideas will be coming from for the next few years. It also allows you to be the most expressive while reaching the largest audience possible.
