Vicinity
I saw the Google I/O keynote and became sort of excited about HTML 5 (specifically its implementation in iPhone OS 3.0). So, I built a little web app I call Vicinity. It’s pure HTML, CSS, and Javascript that pulls your current location using HTML 5 and returns the latest Twitter posts in your area. Quickie: AT&T 3G Rollout
I had to add a new category for this, “Quickie”, because it’s going to be short.
Don’t ask how, but I’ve got a good reason to believe that AT&T is rolling out 3G in Chattanooga on June 30th.
AT&T’s 3G coverage nationwide is currently just above pitiful, so it makes sense they’re expanding it.
